Following the great success of ICSSP’13 and ICSSP’15, International Conference on Solid State Physics-2017 (ICSSP’17) is going to be held during 10 – 14 December, 2017 at Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Original research articles in all sub-disciplines of Solid State Physics are invited.
ICSSP’17 will give you an opportunity to listen to more than 15 KEYNOTE TALKS of experts from all over the world along with 40 Invited talks. ICSSP’17 will be divided into 4 concurrent technical symposia / sessions, A through D, addressing experimental, theoretical, and manufacturing issues associated with the development of new materials & processes, and evolving approaches to scale-up for commercial applications.

Technical Symposia

Contributed papers are solicited for 30 sessions, within 4 concurrent symposia, A through D, which will span an extensive collection of subjects. Research articles will be evaluated for their potential interest to the conference attendees and on the quality of their technical content. More than 15 KEYNOTE speakers with International recognition in their respective fields will strengthen the program.

Plenary Speaker

The conference will open with a welcome Session on Monday, December 11, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a plenary talk.

Graduate Student Awards

Graduate Student Award is another compelling part of ICSSP’17 as practiced in ICSSP’13 and ICSSP’15. This award will be given for excellence in scholarly research. Students’ papers will be judged on the quality of their research, oral / poster presentation at ICSSP and individual discussions with the Awards Committee.

Poster Session

ICSSP’17 includes a poster session on Thursday-Wednesday, December 13-14, 2017. Authors will show a detailed summary of their work. During the two hour session, authors will be standing with their posted materials to lead discussions and answer the questions put to them.

Purpose of "International Conference on Solid State Physics, 2017 (ICSSP'17)" is to bring scientists, from different regions, together at the same platform. Novel ideas in the field of theoretical and experimental research will not only be shared but will also be discussed in detail by the experts
